“Cascade Pale Ale is the oldest continuously brewed beer in the country” so states the the Cascade website. As an Australian-style pale ale, it is less fruity than American-style brews, which can be a little overpowering at times. Brewed in Hobart, Tasmania it is made from the freshest of locally sourced ingredients.
This is an easy drinking pale ale, refreshing with a hint of apple (this maybe psychosomatic, coming from the ‘Apple Isle’) and satisfying bitter finish. A great every day beer, that doesn’t have to try too hard. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
